CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT POSITION OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate for this position is an outgoing individual who enjoys working with people and has some retail and/or customer service experience.   We offer a fun, flexible work environment, plus opportunities for advancement.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Here are some examples of what our Customer Service Assistants do every day:

• Greet customers in the showroom, direct them to the products they are shopping for, offer them coffee or water before handing them off to a salesperson.
• Answer incoming phone calls and transfer them to the proper department
• Assist salespeople as needed
• Assist office staff with clerical work

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

This position requires someone with some customer service and/or retail experience and good people skills.  Other requirements include:

• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn our retail software
• Professional appearance, dependability, accountability & punctuality
• Very friendly and out-going personality

SCHEDULE, PAY & BENEFITS

This is a part-time, hourly position with guaranteed at least 20 hours per week. 
The schedule includes some Saturdays, but Mon-Fri is very flexible and can be adjusted to fit your schedule.

The pay rate for this position is $18/hour.
